The Exalted Warrior novel Chapter 1495

“Wow! This is so cool! I finally rode on a flying sword!”

Kylie, who was now sitting on the flying sword, gazing at the ten thousand lights below; she could not help but exclaim aloud, her tone full of excitement.

The next morning, Lily was impatient in her adobe, wondering why all six elders had not returned yet.

“Honey, why haven’t the six of them returned yet? Based on the plan, they should have been back this morning, right? But it’s already noon now, yet no one is back!”

Lily approached Joel and doubted, frowning.

“Heh, what’s the hurry? It’s not a problem at all for the six of them to kill those three maggots! They must have found a place to drink and celebrate after winning the battle. Don’t worry! They’ll definitely be back by afternoon!”

Joel shrugged and grinned nonchalantly, not the least bit worried about what would happen to the six elders he sent.

However, in the afternoon, Joel had grown a little worried when none of the six elders had yet to return.

Joel then immediately dispatched a group of men to look for the six of them in all possible locations, including the area and the route toward the direction of the Woods residence. He believed that as long as there was a fight, there must be signs of it.

It was not until the next day at noon when those scouts, who had been sent out, returned to Skies Pavilion.

“Master, Master! We have bad news!”

Just as they arrived at the entrance of the pavilion, one of the old men exclaimed aloud.

Joel and Lily—who were sitting inside the main hall—had their brows puckered together when they heard of the noise.

The old man, together with his men, quickly rushed into the hall and kneeled before Joel. “Master, something bad has happened!”

“What’s the matter?”

Joel immediately responded; he was worried sick.

“They…they’re all dead!”

“Master, it’s indeed the case. All six of them are dead!”

The old man sighed, “Sigh! And some of them died in a very tragic and miserable…”

“Tragic and miserable?”

Joel frowned and looked at the old man.

“Yes, Master. The bodies seem to have been crushed by some intense beast claws. They seem to be sharp, incredibly sharp claws!”

The old man then continued, “We too feel strange about that. The injuries on their bodies do not seem like they were caused by a human!”

“Why is there nobody from the Woods family at all? How is that possible? Or could it be that the six elders did not even have the chance to meet the Woods before they got killed by some demonic beast?”

Joel thought for a while before guessing uncertainly.
