The corners of Quentin’s mouth twitched uncontrollably a couple of times, and his facial expression contorted uglily upon hearing Nash’s words. Quentin was mocking others just moments ago, never once thinking what went around would come around.
“Master Lagorio, your family seemed to have suffered a serious loss this time as well!”
“By the way, why does the Church family only have so few people left? All three of your families are big families!” Shelby could not help but step forward and started mocking the other family when she recalled how they gloated and paraded themselves moments ago.
“Impossible! I’m sure that Cloud is still alive! I’m sure of it!” yelled Quentin loudly after mulling over his thoughts. Eyes slowly reddening, he could not accept the fact that his eldest son had also died. He even struggled to recover from Tyrell’s death, and his heart had only started to feel better. Never did he see it coming that his eldest son had also died.
One of the elders from the Hunt family wore a grieving expression as he stepped forward and said, “Master, everyone is out now. This formation and the light screen had also disappeared. The young master has…”
“Master, this… This…” Trenton also stepped forward. Apart from the grieving expression on his face, he was also in disbelief. How could the union between the geniuses from three families fail to topple their opponents? Worse still, their three families had suffered such a huge loss. Although these three families had many geniuses, it was still difficult for them to accept that more than 300 top-tier geniuses had died in one occasion.
“What about this? I didn’t expect something like this to happen either!” Quentin glared at Trenton angrily, inwardly face-palming at how insensible this guy was. What would they do if the other families realized their plans based on what he said?
“So that’s what this is about. Quentin Hunt, isn’t this a bit too much? Did you guys agree earlier before this to work together and attack our people?” Darryl Norman had been extremely angry as many from his family had died, including his three sons. How could he not get angry when almost half of the contestants from their family had died? He suspected at that moment that all three of his sons had died because of this pre-arrangement!
“That’s right! You’re crossing the line if you people had colluded since early on! You’ve caused so many of our people to die!” Many people from other families also stood forward and expressed their protest.
“How can you call this a competition? I think you people just want to work together and kill the geniuses of our family, aren’t you?”
