"What happened, Roanne? Why did you lose to Rodney so easily?" Angus asked in a low voice.

"I don't know," Roanne replied rather sheepishly, looking a little remorseful. Since she was never in a real fight before, much less a duel, she still did not know how she managed to lose to Rodney within minutes!

"Um," Seeing that not even Roanne could provide an answer, Angus and Yuri exchanged nervous glances.

They all watched from beneath the stage and thus did not manage to witness the fight.

All they saw was that Rodney unleashed just one attack, which took down Roanne as easily as ABC. However, none of them knew that Rodney secretly ambushed Roanne with a second attack disguised within the first one!

However, the same could not be said for Leon!

He and Cynthia were onstage when it happened, which meant they were in closer proximity to Rodney and Roanne.

Not only that, but Leon was so worried about Roanne that he was watching Rodney carefully throughout.

However, he was not the only one cackling in glee; the Southern Boss, too, was smirking at this victory!

"Rats! How did this happen?" Angus and Yuri's hearts sank at this realization. Although they did not stage this act with Leon, there was no denying that Roanne lost to Rodney!

Now that the Southern Boss and Rodney managed to rouse everyone's doubt in them, there was nothing the Thompsons could do to prove themselves innocent, as much as they wanted to do so!
