“Very well! You asked for this!” Rick sneered and gathered his true energy in his palm as he planned to get rid of Damian, before taking his time to torture Leon.

Since Damian was the future heir of the Scammells‘ business and had the support of Patrick and the elders, Rick knew that he could not kill Damian, but he had an illegitimate reason to disable Damian and so long as Damian was not severely injured, Patrick would not be able to punish the second bloodline for it.
