The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1421

Upon hearing her words, the room fell into a moment of stunned silence.

Aside from those who had attended the previous association assessment and recognized Mirabella, the majority present were unaware of who she was, let alone acquainted with her.

Although most people were unfamiliar with Mirabella, some recognized Wyatt standing behind her, well aware that he represented the Shepherd family.

Wyatt, who had been mostly silent, seemed to show a particular respect towards Mirabella upon her arrival.

Therefore, the person who recognized Wyatt, upon noticing this detail, pondered over their relationship. When Mirabella posed her question, he, after careful thought, was the first to stand and speak.

“I agree.”

His words caused confusion among the others, especially those next to him, who asked in surprise, “Why would you agree?”

The man sat back down, simply responding, “She must be related to the Shepherd family.”

His voice wasn’t too low, and several people around him heard, prompting a shift in their expressions.

Mentioning the Shepherd family, the foremost noble house in Riverdale, was bound to unsettle anyone.

Mirabella, seeing everyone's attitude, curved her lips into a smile, then turned to David without waiting for the final election result. “David, I’ve got some things to attend to. Let’s catch up another time.”

David, understanding she might be busy, nodded, “Sure, thank you for today.”

With a nod and a smile, Mirabella made her way out.

Seeing this, Wyatt politely nodded at David and hurried to follow Mirabella.

Those in the meeting room who supported the motion couldn't help but sigh internally as they watched the two leave. The Shepherd family indeed supported Devon, and they had made no enemies.
