The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1392

Mirabella leaned back in her chair, rubbing her sore wrists, "If this doesn't work..." she muttered, dreading another trip to the innovation center.

Taking a deep breath, she spoke with newfound determination, "Zane, trust me, this will definitely work!"

"Don't you think it's a far cry from what we had before?" Zane asked, his face a mix of doubt and grudging acceptance. As much as he hated to admit it, he had to be honest.

"That doesn't matter," Mirabella said plainly. "It's like shoes; no matter how high-quality they are, if they don't fit, they're useless."

Zane was at a loss for words for a moment, and finally said, "Alright, let's give it another shot at the innovation center tomorrow."

Mirabella nodded, checked the time, and stood up, gathering her things. "Professor, I've got to head out now."

After her goodbyes, she nodded to Linden and a few others before leaving the lab in a hurry. She had to stop by David's place for a follow-up and check on Morgan's condition.

Half an hour later, at the Watson residence.

Mirabella pulled her hand back from taking a pulse, "Things are pretty stable. Just avoid getting stressed or angry, keep a calm mind, and who knows, you might even add a few more years."

Devon, hearing this, felt a bit relieved. He helped David sit up and adjusted a pillow behind his back.

"Your medicine has really worked wonders. I've been sleeping much better," David said with a smile, feeling a bit emotional. It was no surprise, given her family's reputation for producing such effective remedies.

Mirabella thought for a moment before saying, "I'll write down the prescription for you, Devon."

She asked Devon for some paper and a pen.

Before long, she handed the paper and pen back to Devon, "There are two treatment plans here. If anything's unclear, just hit me up on Messenger."

Hearing there were two prescriptions, Devon's hands trembled as he took the notebook, swallowing hard, and started reading closely.

The more he read, the more amazed he became. He looked up at Mirabella in awe before even finishing.

Despite being in her twenties, her grasp of pharmacology and her skill in crafting these combinations were remarkable.

It went way beyond his understanding of traditional Western medicine, making his years of study feel almost pointless.

Devon held the prescriptions delicately, suddenly wishing Presley were there to see this.

If Presley could see the sought-after prescriptions being casually written and given away by Mirabella, his reaction would be something to behold.
