The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 944

This child could never be allowed to come into the world.

Soon, a nurse stepped out of the operating room. Ewan approached the nurse and asked, "How is it going?"

The nurse replied, "Mr. Ewan, we gave her the injection. She's unconscious now, and she's no longer resisting."

Joanne urged, "Start the procedure. We want to see that baby removed with our own eyes!"

The nurses nodded. "Understood."

She was about to return inside when one of Ewan's men came running down the corridor. "Mr. Ewan, something's wrong!"

Ewan turned to him and asked, "What is it? Why are you panicking?"

The man replied, "Mr. Pilsner is here!"

Ewan and Joanne froze. "What did you say? Who's here?"

"Mr. Ewan, Mr. Jonah Pilsner is here! He's currently bringing a whole team with him. The hospital's already locked down, and he's on his way here right now!"

Joanne panicked. "How did Jonah get here so fast? I thought he didn't even know Hailey was pregnant."

Ewan asked, "Could it be that he found out?"

Joanne guessed as she said, "He must have. He wouldn't show up like this unless he knew."

The man wiped sweat from his brow and said, "Mr. Ewan, he's almost here. We should get out while we still can."

Ewan glanced at the operating room and said, "Damn it! The surgery hasn't even started, and Jonah's already here!"

Joanne was just as unwilling to give up. She had no idea how Jonah had found out so quickly, but it was clear that Hailey's pregnancy could no longer be kept secret.

Jonah already knew that Hailey was pregnant.

Joanne quickly said, "Mr. Ewan, we need to leave. Now."

Ewan clenched his fists and said, "But the kid's still alive! After everything we've done, we're going to walk away with nothing?"

Joanne smirked as she thought of something. "Who says we're walking away empty-handed?"

Ewan looked at her and asked, "You've got an idea?"
