"Sure, let's head out now!" Hailey said.
Carly stood up, and the two of them walked out together.
…
Inside the villa, Celine opened the door, only to find a tall, handsome figure standing outside—Adam had arrived.
What was he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to be having dinner with Carly?
He hadn't shown up at the city hall to register their marriage that day, and two days had passed without a word from him—not even an explanation.
Despite trusting Adam's character, Celine couldn't shake the growing resentment inside her. She really didn't want to see him right now.
She reached out to close the door, trying to shut him out.
But Adam's hand pressed against the door, preventing her from closing it. He looked at her and said, "Celine, please don't close it."
Celine's clear eyes met his chiseled features. "Mr. Alvarez, what are you here for?"
Adam smirked. "Celine, why are you calling me Mr. Alvarez? That's a little too formal, don't you think? After all, we're supposed to be getting married."
How dare he bring that up now?
Celine looked at him. "We were supposed to register for our marriage, Mr. Alvarez, but you didn't show up, did you?"
"Celine, please, let me explain."
"Alright, Mr. Alvarez, I'm giving you a chance. Go ahead."
"Celine, please, just let me inside. I'll explain everything."
After a moment of hesitation, Celine opened the door, allowing Adam to enter.
Once inside the living room, Adam reached out and grabbed Celine's slender arm. "Celine, are you mad at me?"
Adam's eyes landed on something, and he quickly reached out, grabbing it. "What's this?"
He looked closer—it was two plane tickets. "Celine, are you planning to leave?"
Celine nodded without hesitation. "Yes, I'm taking Bella and leaving this place."
Since Adam had shown no intention of marrying her, there was no reason for her to stay.
She had allowed him into the house, giving both him and their relationship a chance. But since he hadn't said anything, she decided it was time to leave the Capitol with Bella.
"Celine, you can't leave with Bella. I won't allow it!"
Celine scoffed. "Mr. Alvarez, be reasonable. Why can't Bella and I leave? Please, just go. I heard you have dinner plans with Ms. Hampton—why don't you go ahead and join her?"
She turned to walk away, but her phone rang just then. It was Hailey calling.
Celine pressed the button to answer, but Adam snatched the phone out of her hand before she could say more than a few words.

My dad please come novel it’s the same book with all the chapters but different characters instead of Celine her name is Wendy...
I am not happy with all of this. Why is carly moving so freely with ann. This is wrong...
You'll piss again with the next chapters. Its all about hailey, declan and erwan....

this is getting absurd and funnier...so are we gonna some sci-fi alien or time travelling next...author getting dummier... I just want to point out that every single char forgets what the atrocious things carly did and was never punished they practically ignore every deed she'd done and she goes unscathed and starts doing some witchcraft sh*t...
It's been over a year since i started reading this book. Now...i guess this will take more years before it ends...hahhah enemel...
Seriously???? I really wanted to laugh. This is ridiculous! Unbelievable. Medicine to witchcraft????🤣 You're just dragging it. Reveal who the real daughter of the Hampton!!!!...
Can't you just reveal the truth of Celine heritage ??...
Not again..is there any fast forward button?...
this is so annoying. the happy moments of celine and adam are way too shorter than their problems. this is the kind of story that will make the readers lose their interest. to the author, you are so disappointing. i hope you can give the story the justice it deserves....
