Hailey froze in place. She had never seen this side of Declan before.
Ewan smirked and said, "Hailey, do you see it now? Is this still the Declan you thought you knew? He's in the casino now, fully immersed in this world and mixing around with its people. You two are from completely different worlds—he doesn't deserve you!"
Hailey turned to Ewan, finally realizing why he had brought her here.
It would seem that Ewan knew about Declan being here in advance.
"Ewan, no matter what Declan is like, it's not up to you to judge him. You have no right!"
Ewan sneered. "Even now, you're still willing to defend him? Did he put some kind of spell on you or what?"
"It's none of your business! I don't want to be here. I'm going home!" Hailey turned to leave.
However, Ewan blocked her way. "Declan is right there. Don't you want to go say hi?"
"There's no need. Move aside."
Hailey didn't know why Declan was here, but she sensed that he didn't want to see her. So, she chose to leave quietly.
But Ewan wasn't about to let that happen. He grabbed Hailey's arm and said, "Come on, Hailey. Let's go say hi."
"Ewan, let me go! Don't touch me!"
Hailey struggled to break free, but Ewan's grip was too strong. She couldn't shake him off.
At that moment, Hailey felt a sharp gaze homing in on her. She looked up and locked eyes with Declan's cold, piercing stare.
Declan noticed them.
Their eyes met, and Hailey stiffened.
Ewan had also noticed Declan's reaction and suddenly smirked. Then, he wrapped an arm around Hailey's shoulders, pulling her into his embrace. "Declan, it's been a while."
Hailey shoved Ewan away furiously. She wanted to slap him.
Declan, accompanied by several men dressed in black, walked over.
The black-clad men recognized Ewan. "Mr. Ewan! What brings you here?"
Hailey froze upon hearing that. Declan just said he didn't know her.
She felt hurt. His indifference stung her deeply.
Declan glanced at her, then said, "I have things to do. I'll be over there."
With that, he turned and walked away.
He was gone just like that.
Hailey stood frozen in place.
One of the men in black chuckled. "Mr. Ewan, Declan isn't much of a talker."
Ewan smirked. "I can see that."
"But Declan is the type who gets things done. Ruthless, efficient, and highly capable. Our boss values him a lot. Soon, this whole casino will be under his management."
Ewan laughed. "So, he's fully stepped into this world now. That means getting out won't be easy."

I am not happy with all of this. Why is carly moving so freely with ann. This is wrong...
You'll piss again with the next chapters. Its all about hailey, declan and erwan....

this is getting absurd and funnier...so are we gonna some sci-fi alien or time travelling next...author getting dummier... I just want to point out that every single char forgets what the atrocious things carly did and was never punished they practically ignore every deed she'd done and she goes unscathed and starts doing some witchcraft sh*t...
It's been over a year since i started reading this book. Now...i guess this will take more years before it ends...hahhah enemel...
Seriously???? I really wanted to laugh. This is ridiculous! Unbelievable. Medicine to witchcraft????🤣 You're just dragging it. Reveal who the real daughter of the Hampton!!!!...
Can't you just reveal the truth of Celine heritage ??...
Not again..is there any fast forward button?...
this is so annoying. the happy moments of celine and adam are way too shorter than their problems. this is the kind of story that will make the readers lose their interest. to the author, you are so disappointing. i hope you can give the story the justice it deserves....
