Hailey raised a hand and knocked on the door. It wasn't long before the door opened. However, it wasn't Declan, but a young girl that opened it.
The girl looked at Hailey curiously. "Hi, miss. Who are you looking for?"
Hailey guessed that this was Declan's sister, Aileen Zamora, as she was wearing a junior high school uniform.
Aileen looked thin, but her clothes were neat and her hair was tied up in a neat ponytail. Her big eyes had an energetic light that was pleasant to look at. She bore some resemblance to Declan.
Hailey liked Aileen at first sight. She smiled. "Hi. I'm Hailey. I'm your brother, Declan's, schoolmate, and I'm here for him. Is he home?"
Aileen shook her head. "Declan isn't back yet."
It was getting late, but Declan still wasn't home yet.
Pamela Zamora, Declan's mother, walked out. "Is it a friend of Declan's? Come in and have a seat."
Hailey looked at Pamela. She was blind and half of her hair had already turned white. However, she looked friendly and approachable, and the tone of her voice was gentle. She must have been a Josanan beauty when she was younger.
Hailey walked in. “Nice to meet you, Mrs. Zamora.”
Pamela received Hailey happily. “Miss, come in and sit here. Declan will be back soon.”
Even though the house was small, it was clean and well taken care of. Hailey saw that there were several jasmine flowers in the vase by the window. The light and warmth of this house stood out amidst the dark and muddy alleys it was located in
Hailey was still looking around when the door was suddenly pushed open with a creak. Declan was home,
Declan was tall, six feet two inches to be exact. He looked like a guardian spirit standing in the doorway clad in all black. The sharp angles of his handsome face made Hailey’s heart stutter slightly.
Pamela said happily, “Declan, you’re back. Your friend is here to meet you.”
Declan had already realized that someone was in his home the second he entered the house. His cold and sharp eyes swept toward Hailey.
s. His personality isn’t one that girls would like. It’s
Halley looked at Declan. He wasn’t someone girls would like?
Declan was holding a bag of groceries. Did he know how to cook too?
Declan ignored Halley and went into the kitchen.
Pamela wanted to help “Declan, I can do the cooking”
“Mom, go and rest.”
Hailey stood outside watching as Declan worked in the kitchen. His large hands held the frying pan and ladle as he cooked, and the well–defined outline of his arms could be seen vaguely under his T–shirt’s sleeves, looking strong and beautiful.
Declan really was different from any other man she had ever met. Adam, Ewan, and even her own father, James, didn’t know how to cook as they had many servants at home. But Declan did.
It even seemed like his culinary skills were fairly good, as within minutes the delicious smell of sweet and sour pork ribs watted through the house. Halloy felt that it was a lucky coincidence that she also loved to rat sweet and sour pork ribs, just like Alleen. Halley’s favorite dish was sweet pork ribs.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam)
My dad please come novel it’s the same book with all the chapters but different characters instead of Celine her name is Wendy...
I am not happy with all of this. Why is carly moving so freely with ann. This is wrong...
You'll piss again with the next chapters. Its all about hailey, declan and erwan....
I found a link with the same story but different character name with 1k+ chapters ☺️...
this is getting absurd and funnier...so are we gonna some sci-fi alien or time travelling next...author getting dummier... I just want to point out that every single char forgets what the atrocious things carly did and was never punished they practically ignore every deed she'd done and she goes unscathed and starts doing some witchcraft sh*t...
It's been over a year since i started reading this book. Now...i guess this will take more years before it ends...hahhah enemel...
Seriously???? I really wanted to laugh. This is ridiculous! Unbelievable. Medicine to witchcraft????🤣 You're just dragging it. Reveal who the real daughter of the Hampton!!!!...
Can't you just reveal the truth of Celine heritage ??...
Not again..is there any fast forward button?...
this is so annoying. the happy moments of celine and adam are way too shorter than their problems. this is the kind of story that will make the readers lose their interest. to the author, you are so disappointing. i hope you can give the story the justice it deserves....
