The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 1067

Olivia agreed to take Rebecca to the hospital.

A smile bloomed on Rebecca's face. "Thank you, Olivia. The three of us are going to be best friends forever!"

"Rebecca, if you truly want to be friends with Hailey, you need to clarify your relationship with Mr. Pilsner to the media as soon as possible."

Rebecca was taken aback.

Why was Olivia bringing this up again?

"There's no time like the present," Olivia added. "Let's get it done tomorrow. After you set the story straight, perhaps Hailey and Mr. Pilsner will be able to reconcile as well."

Rebecca was annoyed with Olivia, but for now, she had no choice but to go along with her.

She would wait until Olivia's chicken soup had taken its toll on Hailey. After that, Rebecca planned to confront Olivia without holding anything back.

For the moment, she forced a smile. "Alright, Olivia. I'll clarify things to the media tomorrow."

Olivia smiled back. "That's great, Rebecca. On Hailey's behalf, thank you."

"You're welcome. Nothing ever happened between Mr. Pilsner and me anyway."

"Alright then, let's go to the hospital."

Olivia and Rebecca arrived soon after.

"Rebecca, just wait here," Olivia said. "Hailey's resting in the ward. I'll go in alone."

Rebecca nodded, her eyes lingering on the thermos Olivia carried. "Alright, Olivia. I'll stay out here. Just make sure Hailey drinks the soup while it's still hot."

With a nod, Olivia turned and walked into the room.

Rebecca stood by the doorway, quietly leaning in to catch a glimpse inside.

Hailey was seated on the hospital bed when Olivia came into the room.

Suddenly, her brows furrowed. "To be honest, I'm not that hungry."

Was Hailey really refusing to drink the soup?

Rebecca stood speechless, disbelief tightening her chest.

It felt like Hailey was deliberately toying with her.

"Just drink it!" Rebecca pleaded in her mind.

"Hailey, why don't you want the soup anymore?" Olivia asked.

"I just don't have much of an appetite right now. Leave it here. I'll drink it later if I feel like it," Hailey said.

Olivia shook her head. "But you haven't eaten all day. Even if you don't feel hungry, the baby still needs nourishment. For the baby's sake, you have to eat something."

Hailey said nothing in response.
