The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 1025

Rebecca had fallen intentionally.

No matter how much she tried to draw Jonah's attention, he remained completely indifferent, treating her like she wasn't even there.

Frustrated, she concluded that being physically close was the only way to catch his eye.

With her youthful allure and captivating figure, she was certain Jonah couldn't possibly resist her charms.

After all, she had easily captured Ewan's attention before.

With a dramatic gasp, Rebecca let herself tumble.

She imagined Jonah's arms wrapping around her, pulling her into his embrace.

But as the seconds stretched on, Rebecca realized something was off.

Jonah hadn't moved to help her.

A sharp shriek escaped her lips.

Before she could react, her body slammed into the ground with a painful thud.

She landed hard, and her limbs twisted in an uncomfortable position.

Rebecca was speechless.

Pain radiated through her entire body, every movement amplifying the unbearable ache.

The fitting room door swung open just then, and Hailey stepped out. "I'm done changing."

Jonah stepped forward and wrapped his arm around her slender waist. "Are you tired?"

Hailey smiled. "Not at all. Oh no! Rebecca, what happened to you?"

She couldn't help but notice Rebecca sprawled awkwardly on the floor.

Rebecca's face flushed with embarrassment. "I'm fine, Hailey. I just sprained my ankle and tripped. I'll get up right away!"

But the moment she tried to push herself up, the pain hit her like a wave.

She couldn't seem to move.
