The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 1023

Rebecca looked uneasy as she said, "Hailey, I was just about to head home. I don't have any money for a taxi, so I was going to grab a shared bike."

She glanced around and continued, "But there aren't any nearby, so I was about to find one."

Hailey said, "Rebecca, don't bother looking for a shared bike. Where do you want to go? I can give you a ride."

Rebecca's eyes lit up, but she declined her offer. "I don't know… wouldn't that be inconvenient for you?"

Hailey shook her head and said, "No, it's fine. Just get in."

Hailey then opened the back door for her.

Rebecca didn't refuse this time. She smiled brightly at Jonah and said, "Mr. Pilsner, thank you very much."

Then, she slid into the back seat.

While looking at Hailey, Jonah said, "Hailey, you should get in too."

With that, Hailey got into the passenger seat.

Jonah slid into the driver's seat, pressed the accelerator, and the luxury car glided smoothly onto the road.

As Jonah was driving, Hailey turned around and asked, "Rebecca, where do you live?"

Rebecca replied, "My dad's not home right now, and I don't have the key, so I can't get in. If you two have somewhere urgent to go, I can tag along."

Hailey and Jonah were heading to try on some wedding dresses.

Hailey said, "Rebecca, since you can't get home, why don't you come with us? We're going to a bridal shop to try on some wedding dresses."

Rebecca's eyes sparkled with envy as she said, "Wow, you're trying on wedding dresses? Wouldn't it be inconvenient for you two? Mr. Pilsner, is it okay if I'm a third wheel?"

Then, she shot a playful look at Jonah in the driver's seat.

Jonah didn't show any reaction to her.

He didn't look at Rebecca. Instead, he indifferently said, "It's fine."

Hailey chuckled and said, "Rebecca, see? It's fine. Let's go together."

Rebecca nodded. "Alright."

Half an hour later, the luxury car pulled up in front of the bridal shop.
