THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 308

Ocean’s Heart belonged to her.

It was the Lowell family’s most precious heirloom.

For Caitlin to do this—it was no different than trampling all over the Lowell name.

There was no way Sally would let Caitlin humiliate them like this.

And, more than that—

If her father ever found out she’d lost Ocean’s Heart, she’d be dead!

Caitlin spoke with calm indifference. “Miss Lowell, you proposed the game, and you set the stakes. Have you forgotten what you said before we even started? If your memory fails you, I’m sure the whole room here can remind you—they were all witnesses.”

As soon as Caitlin finished, the guests immediately chimed in, siding with her. “Miss Gonzales is right. We’re all adults here—you have to accept the consequences of your own bet. Miss Lowell, you’re the Lowell family’s heiress, aren’t you? Surely you’re not going to back out now?”

“Sally, if you can’t handle losing, don’t embarrass yourself!”

“Yeah, Sally, don’t make a scene.”

“Tsk, tsk, who was it that said only cowards go back on their word?”

“So this is what the Lowells are really like—no class at all!”

Sally felt frozen in place, a cold sweat prickling down her back as her face drained of color. She was on the verge of fainting.

Just before the match, everyone had been on her side.

But now—

Every single person had switched to Caitlin’s.

Who even was she?

Sally glared daggers at Caitlin, as if she could burn a hole right through her.

But Caitlin acted as if Sally’s fury didn’t exist. She simply handed Ocean’s Heart to the butler standing nearby. “Take care of this for me.”

“Yes, Miss Freya.”

“Freya, that was brilliant!” Hannah beamed, looping her arm through Caitlin’s. “That’s the kind of spirit we Richards women are known for!”

“Thank you, Grandma.”

Keira followed behind, her eyes sparkling. “Freya, are you hiding any more surprises from your dear old grandmother?”

Caitlin grinned, putting on a show of mystery. “Oh, plenty! You’ll find out in good time.”
