THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 274

Carey was nothing like Caitlin.

When tragedy struck, Caitlin was just three months old—helpless and unaware. Carey, on the other hand, was already an adult.

If Carey were still alive, there was no way she’d have vanished without a trace.

Hannah clung to Caitlin, sobbing. “Oh, my poor Freya. So little, and already you’ve lost your parents. But don’t worry, sweet girl. You still have your grandma, your nana, your uncle and aunt, and thirteen older brothers. My darling Freya, from now on, I won’t let you suffer a single hardship!”

Warren, Willis, and the others immediately chimed in, eager to reassure her. “Mom, you’ve got us! If anyone even thinks about making Freya suffer, we’ll be the first to stand up for her!”

“Grandma, we’re here too!” Easton and Wesley Richards, along with their brothers, jumped in as well.

From now on, they’d all look after their youngest sister together.

Caitlin looked up at Hannah, her voice steady. “Nana, don’t worry. I’ll find my mother, no matter what. Dead or alive, I’ll bring her home.”

“Yes, Freya. I believe you,” Hannah whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

The Capital.

As soon as Ann got her mother’s call, she booked the next flight and hurried home.

The front gates of the Gonzales estate loomed ahead.

Amanda was already waiting outside for her.

“Mom!” Ann called out.

Just then, the family’s chauffeur pulled up in their sleek black sedan. Ann stepped out, barely able to contain herself. She glanced at the butler—who had served the Gonzales family loyally for decades and was fiercely devoted to Keira. Ann knew better than to show any emotion in his presence.

Forcing a bright smile, she rushed to Amanda. “Mom, I heard we found my sister. Is it true?”

Amanda nodded, smiling back. “Yes, Ann. Your nana found Freya.”

“Where is she? Where’s Freya now?” Ann pressed.

“Your nana’s gone to bring her home.” Amanda took her daughter’s hand. “Come inside, I’ll tell you everything.”

“Alright.” Ann followed her mother into the house.
