Chapter 830: Drayce And Seren’s Visit

Oriana’s father arrived to meet her once Arlan sent him a message about Oriana’s pregnancy, which the Demon Lord had already sensed when they went to see Oriana’s mother.

He answered Arlan’s questions on whether he had to take any special care of Oriana.

"Just be prepared for some of the most difficult days of your life," Valeron answered, a light smirk at the corner of his lips. "The demoness with a highly volatile mood, I believe you won’t fall short."

Arlan understood the meaning and could imagine his days going forward. Normally, it was not easy to handle her when she was in a bad mood, then pregnancy was going to make it real hell for him.

"I will manage to stay alive," Arlan answered with playful smile.

"I was fortunate her mother was a goddess, peaceful and usually busy in meditation. But still, once in a while, she would be difficult as she was carrying a demon’s child," he patted Arlan’s shoulder. "My blessings are with you."

Arlan knew he was taking a dig at him, but could do nothing.

Valeron used his power, and a small dark wooden box appeared in his hands. "There is a herb from the demon realm. It will help her body stay strong here in the mortal world when the child inside her will feed on the darkness from her. She should have been in the demon realm until she gave birth, but she doesn’t want to, so this is the way."

"Thank you," Arlan accepted, and it disappeared from his hands.

Not just the Demon Lord, Drayce and Seren couldn’t help but come to see them along with Slayer.

"I am so happy for you," Seren hugged Oriana and congratulated the couple.

"My baby would need a blessing from the goddess of creation," Oriana said.

"Of course. My blessings are always there," Seren said as she looked at Oriana’s stomach. "I can already sense a strong energy. The baby’s going to be truly powerful. Absolute darkness, but no evil, and divine energy is there as well."

Oriana was delighted to hear it as Seren had the ability to see these things.

The husbands left their wives alone to talk.

"I wait to hear it from you," Oriana said.

"I had been weak since we returned from the heaven realm, so Drayce let me rest to recover entirely," Seren explained, the meaning clear.

"What a thoughtful husband you have," Oriana sighed. "While mine couldn’t wait to get his hands on me just after we returned home." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Seren chuckled softly. "He knows the demoness is strong."

Outside in the drawing room, as they settled, Arlan raised a brow at Drayce. "You have broken your most cherished oath of virginity a while back. What’s wrong?" he lowered his gaze below Drayce’s waist. "The thing’s not working?"

Drayce remained calm. "Don’t be so smug. And I am not in a hurry to have a child."

Arlan let out an exasperated sigh. "Seeing your kids is my most cherished dream, but you are slower than a slug. May God give you more strength."

"Worry about yourself. I heard demons are dangerous in this condition. Can’t wait to see you with eye bags, messed up hair, and running for your life. I will have a real laugh then."

"Dream on," Arlan said and turned to Slayer. "Are you going to keep your knight celibate for life?"

"Shut up," Slayer said coldly. "Don’t poke your nose in my life."

It didn’t affect Arlan. "See this aggression of his. You need to do something to get him laid. Or it will only worsen."

"I am sending him to check his estate where he never set foot," Drayce answered before Slayer took out his sword to get back at Arlan. "Duke Calhoun Sanders needs to show up in front of his people."

Arlan used a mind link to talk with Drayce, so Slayer wouldn’t hear it. "You need to arrange marriage for him. Once he has a family, it will change things."

"I can’t force it. He might just leave and never return," Drayce replied through a mind link.

"Is he by chance not interested in women, and..."

"No. I don’t think so. He is just not interested in having a family and responsibilities."

Arlan sighed. "We can shake the entire world, but not this friend of ours."

"True."

"Whatever useless talk you two are having, you can drop it," Slayer commented and stood up. He looked at Imbert, and both the knights left.
