The Contract novel Chapter 8

Kendall.

I opened my eyes staring at the ceiling. I know damn well this ain't my place, so where am I? I sat up in the bed looking around. What in the actual hell? I stood up and found myself exploring the place. I kept walking and walking until I found myself downstairs.

I heard the sound of the television playing and I knew someone was in the living room. I took a deep breath and prepared myself to be greeted by whoever this house belongs too. I walked from around the corner and cleared my throat. He turned around and smiled at me.

"Good morning." He greeted.

"Oh hell no," I stated with a look of hatred.

"Oh? You mean oh yes." He said with a smirk.

"Ryan, I do not like you, alright? I was drunk and I do not know how I ended up here but whatever I'm leaving now." I said while putting on my dress and shoes.

"Well you do not have diabetes." They answered. I sighed in relief, thank you God. Its only stress.

"Oh God. Thank you." I said while standing up.

"You are two weeks pregnant." The doctors stated.
