Sierra's face turned red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, Mr. Skyler. I'll study hard and improve my game.’

Her job was to keep Skyler entertained, as instructed by Tanya. If she could win his favor, she might not have to continue scraping by as an underpaid assistant.

Leopold clapped Skyler on the shoulder. "Skyler, it's not that she's weak.

"Just five others besides me. They're at the hotel” Sierra answered truthfully.

Sierra looked at him with puppy-dog eyes. “Mr. Skyler, I can make snacks for you. I'm good at cooking tasty treats.”

Leopold smiled slightly. “Aunt Tanya, you can come along if you feel up to it.

We might even try Gleaming Gardens’ famous beef steak."

"That would be lovely,’ Tanya said, relieved. “I can't eat much these days, but I do miss the roasted beef steak from Elysium. I used to eat one every day when I visited. They're so crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, dripping with juices... Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.”

Skyler lowered his head, idly twisting the lollipop in his hand. With his aunt along, the fun would be spoiled, and Geoffrey might even tag along secretly.
