Aman, his face twisted in a scowl, approached with a hotel security quard in tow, "This crazy lady's been hollering for ages. Please deal with her” he barked at Megan.

Megan rolled her eyes dismissively, "I'm calling for my husband. What's it to you?"

The security officer interjected, "Madam, this is a hotel. Our guests expect peace. Please lower your voice and wait in the lobby."

Fuming, but with no sign of Leopold, coming out, Megan stomped her foot in frustration and headed to the lobby to wait.

She didn't believe that he would stay holed up forever. He had to come out eventually.

After she left, Aurelia sent a WhatsApp message to Leopold, "Leopold, Arnold, William, Skyler, and I are off to the film city. Don't bother coming after us. I don't want Megan spoiling the fun."

Leopold was irritated. He immediately called Kevin, "I need to know how Megan found out where I am now."

Back in the lobby, as Aurelia and her group emerged from the elevator, Megan sprang to her feet and approached them, "Where's Leopold?"

“Why would we know where your husband is?" Arnold replied coldly.

Megan smirked, "I just thought Leopold might be a nuisance to you and Aurelia. I figured if I'm with him, you two can enjoy your day out."

William made a face at her, "Megan, why are you like a shadow? It seems wherever Uncle Leopold goes, you're always there."

"He's my husband. It's my right to follow him? Megan shot back.

"He's sick of you and can't stand you following him around. That's why he left; William said bluntly.

"You rose to the top by deceit. If someone does the same to you, it's only karma,’ Aurelia said without a shred of sympathy, "You've tried to harm me twice. I haven't forgotten a thing and I will get my due."

Megan's face turned ashen, "I've never harmed you. You're the one casting spells, making everyone think I'm sleepwalking. It's despicable."

Aurelia gave a low grunt, "You're just suffering from sleepwalking, and don't blame spells for trying to hide the truth. The doctor's diagnosis is the correct one. See a doctor more often when you have time. It's good for you."

Megan clenched her teeth, "I don't have sleepwalking issues. If you think bewitching me will make Leopold divorce me, you're in for a disappointment. As long as I'm alive, I'm his wife, and no one will take my place."

Aurelia knew it wouldn't be easy to divorce. If Leopold couldn't keep his promise, she would cut him out of her life for good.

She wouldn't stoop so low as to become his mistress or casual lover.

She had more self-respect than that.
