Chapter 542
Skyler stood tall, hands on his hips, puffing out his cheeks in defiance as he glared at the hornet, "Nasty bug,’ he huffed, "I hate nasty bugs. Angel, you gotta squash it."
Aurelia shook her head, "No, we can't squash it now. It's needed for research at the biological institute. I don't know who the devil would release such a horrid creature into the Butterfly Valley. I was planning to take Orchid and Rose there to visit their cousins. Cousins are family too, sharing the same bloodline. They should love one another and help each other, right?"
She looked up at Skyler, who nodded earnestly, “Angel, you're right. I have a great relationship with my cousins."
Aurelia gave a smile, "Because you are a good boy. Only naughty children fight with their cousins."
Skyler nodded his head vigorously, "Yes, I am a good boy."
Aurelia gave him a penetrative look, a hint of depth hidden within her gaze. She then pulled out a box of snacks from her bag, “Skyler, these are homemade chocolate chip cookies. Try one and tell me if they're good."
Skyler took a cookie and crunched it down, "Yummy, so yummy. I like it."
Aurelia also took one and began munching on it, "You can have the whole box, sweetie. I can bake plenty more delicious treats for you next time."
"OK." Skyler beamed innocently.
As she nibbled on her cookie, Aurelia tapped the glass jar housing the hornet, "Skyler, you mentioned last time that your brother Geoffrey has a lot of bugs, right? Does he have any hornets?"
Skyler thought for a moment before shaking his head, "I don't remember. I don't like that place."
"Who took you there?” Aurelia asked.
Skyler's large eyes wandered, “I don't remember. I fell asleep and woke up at Geoffrey's place."
"Skyler, has he ever made you do anything?"
"To get pocket money from Daddy, Skyler said.
Aurelia guessed that the pocket money Hanson gave to Skyler was not a small amount. After all, the one thing the Heninger family didn't lack was money.
Geoffrey most likely used this money to fund his biological weapons production.
Those heartless bastards, were so cruel, even exploiting an innocent child. They deserved nothing less than the harshest punishment.
"Skyler, you shouldn't listen to Geoffrey anymore. He's using your money to breed nasty bugs, and then using those bugs to kill flowers. Nasty bugs eat flowers."
