She didn’t mind his words, and it was better than wearing her heart on her sleeve, only to

She rolled her eyes at him. 

“Mr. Leopold, you’re a married man. Don’t discuss love with your ex–wife before the divorce, because it’s too damn ironic.” 

Leopold was like a mute eating sour grapes, his grievances unable to be voiced, causing him deep anguish. 

At that moment, William’s voice echoed from a distance, “Mommy, come over here, and look at the sandcastle I made.” 

“Alright, sweetheart.” Aurelia got up from her seat and walked towards William. 

Her phone lay on the table, vibrating suddenly with a WhatsApp notification. 

Leopold glanced at it subconsciously, finding it was a message from someone named Jimmy.

William turned his head, making a funny face. 

Kane picked up the chessboard, “Let’s go below deck, and I don’t want to sunbathe.” 

“Alright.” William jumped up from the deck, and the two of them went below deck together. Now, Leopold could do as he pleased. 

He tilted her chin up, his gaze dark as it swept over her face, “Are you lonely?” 

Aurelia was taken aback, not understanding his question, “What do you mean?” 

He sucked in a breath, forcing out a few words, “Who is Jimmy?” 

Aurelia froze, quickly checking her WhatsApp. 

Jimmy had messaged her today, but he had been blocked. 

She felt a sense of unease. Damn, he had found out. 

Mr. Leopold, this is a personal matter. We’re divorced now, so it really has nothing to do with you. Even if I were still your wife, you should respect my privacy and refrain from poking around in my phone.
