The Biker’s Mafia Princess novel Chapter 167

Harmony POV.

God, I’m sobbing like a baby. This is not the first time Melody has called me mommy, but it always brings tears to my eyes. I really need to get a grip on my emotions.

“I’m sorry mommy, I didn’t mean it. You can go wherever you want. I’m sorry.” Oh, my heart. I pull Melody up onto my lap and kiss her all over her face, laughing as I do.

“Oh baby, no, you didn’t upset me. These are happy tears. Every time you call me mommy, I just get so happy that I cry. You didn’t do anything wrong, my sweet girl. I love you.” I hug her and she hugs me back. I look around the room and everyone is staring at us with smiles on their faces. I see some of the members wiping their eyes.

God, we are all emotional right now. There must be something in the air.

“I’m sorry mommy, I love you too.” Well, that does it and we are both crying. Mav is rubbing my back as I just hold my precious little girl. God, I’m starting to sound like Gollum.

“Melly, there is something that came for you today while you were at school. I don’t know who it’s from but it arrived here before. Do you want to see it?” I ask her and she nods her head before I gently wipe her tears away and I chuckle at as she does the same to me.

“No more tears, mommy. I’m not going anywhere. You are my mommy and I won’t let anything happen to you.” I take a few deep breaths and nod my head at her words. God, could this girl get any cuter?

I kiss her and give her a big squeeze before I tickle her, and she squeals with laughter.

“Stop, mommy, stop, I’m going to pee.” I stop instantly and she chuckles and tries to tickle me and I laugh, feigning to get her to stop, but I don’t want her to. She is mine, just like her daddy is.

“Ok, ok, come on let’s see what it is shall we?” I ask her and she smiles at me, excitement radiating from her little body. Mav places her on her feet and I stand, offering my hand to her and she takes it.

The members all smile and wink. Some of the ole lady’s comment on how cute we both look, and I wink at them.

I see Michelle, and she nods once at me and stands.

“Oh Melly, could you help Hound one second with the boys? They are being rascals.” She says and Melody instantly goes into protector mode and nods her head.

“Come on mommy, I need to tell them off. They are being bad again.” She says tugging me to the other side of the clubhouse as I chuckle as she storms to where the boys are in fact being little monsters for Hound.

“Oi, stop it. Johnny, stop being a big meany to James, and James stop being a big meany to your daddy.” Members chuckle, commenting that whoever will be her boyfriend better not hurt her. I ignore them and look at the twins and Hound as he winks at me.

“Oh thank you Melly, what will do with them?” Michelle comes back carrying the wrapped gift. I look at Melody, and her eyes widen and light up. She looks at me and I squat to her level. Mav behind me to steady me.

“That came today. I wonder who it’s from?” I say, pretending to not know when she is off. Mav helps me stand as Melody looks at the bear and then at the picture. We walk closer to her and she is looking confused.

“Mommy, daddy, why is there a picture of an alien?” She asks and I burst out laughing as I help her unwrap the cellophane and pluck the photo frame out.

“Yes, I want to help. I will be the best big sister in the whole wide world.” She makes the gesture with her arms wide as I hold her against me and I chuckle.

“Oh, I know you will. Why don’t you go and find Harry and show him your present and show him the picture of the baby?” I say to her and she nods her head and wiggles to be put down. She grabs the bear, lifting it and placing it on her hip, and grabs the photo frame and walks off to find Harry. Johnny and James behind her.

“She will be a wonderful sister. She is already a mother hen and keeps the tiny terrors in their place. If we aren’t careful, I have a feeling we will be family in other ways when they are older.” Michelle says and I smile, knowing what she means.

Johnny and James are very protective of Melody, and I think their friendship could blossom into something more. I look at Mav and he and Hound are glaring at each other. Oh, for fuck’s sake. I roll my eyes as I slap Mav on his chest,

“Knock it off, they are still kids and you never know we could be wrong.” I say to him and he relaxes. Yeah, I doubt that. A mother knows and me and Michelle know how it could end up.

I wink at Michelle and she makes the lock gesture over her mouth and I do the same. One day we will know for sure, but while they are little, we can watch this from a distance. You never know what the future holds.

All that matters to me is that those kids will be friends for a long time. They are inseparable, and I know the twins will always protect Melody. The thing is, she doesn’t need it; she is more than capable of holding her own if and when she needs to.

I only hope that as they get older, they don’t hurt her heart. Like every man here, the twins will grow up to be heartbreakers. But so will Melody. But I’m getting ahead of myself. They are still small and anything can happen as they grow.
