The Bad Boy Next Room (Charlie and Taylor) novel Chapter 70

“No, no, no!” Tristan broke down completely, falling to his knees. “Ah! Ah!”

He started screaming, punching the floor as tears flooded his cheeks.

Charlie, on the other hand, tried to appease him. She leveled with him, saying, “It’s okay. We will get you a new guitar, and Taylor will understand -”

“You! Why did you do that?” Tristan snapped.

Archie, however, had no guilt whatsoever. Instead, he said, “See that, Charlie? He shouldn’t be out here. You better lock him up in a mental institution, just like his crazy friends!”

The worst part was how Archie simulated Tristan’s actions, and he laughed along with his friends. Luke did not laugh, but because Regina was laughing, he only shook his head.

Meanwhile, Charlie was boiling inside.

First, Archie broke the guitar. Then, he called Tristan a freak. And now crazy! If that was not enough, he went too far by mocking Tristan’s emotional outcry! Charlie has had enough!

Her heart was filled with rage, and she lost all sense of reason for the first time in her life. Her hands quickly formed into fists. She stepped back and suddenly threw a punch at Archie!

She was a girl, but she had some background in self-defense, so her punch landed a solid jab to Archie’s jaw.

“Fuck!” Archie reacted. He turned around, full of rage, and slapped Charlie so hard that she fell on the floor!

Ah!” Charlie screamed, feeling her cheek burning from the pain.

“That’s enough, Archie!” Luke finally spoke up. “Stop this now! Charlie, you better -”

But before Archie could react, he was sent sprawling to the ground.

Charlie gasped. Her gaze landed on a tall and seething figure.

Taylor had finally arrived!

He single-handedly lifted Archie’s frame and pinned him to the ground. Taylor did not even spare a second before he gave Archie a taste of his fist! “You like hitting women, Archie! I’d tell you to pick on someone your own size, but cowards like you don’t stand a chance.”

“We are already checking on it, Kid,” the officer said.

With so many people involved, the police officers separated them based on which side they were on. Charlie and Taylor were grouped with Tristan, his friends, Victor, Kevin, and a few members of the Atomic Heat.

From what Charlie learned, Archie had been treated by a medic before being brought to the police station. He was in a separate holding room with his group of friends.

“Are you okay?” The Officer asked Charlie, seeing the bruise on her face. “For a young girl, you are very courageous to go head to head with a bigger guy. You should be more careful.”

Charlie was already holding an ice pack against her cheek. She nodded, saying, “He went too far, Officer. I could not stand it.”

“And you -” the officer turned to Taylor, shaking his head. “You did not have to beat him up so badly. Foster’s face is swelled up!”

The Officer was referring to Archie. His last name was Foster, Archie Foster.

“This won’t look good on you, kid,” the Officer said, referring to Taylor.
