One-Hundred Twenty-Three: Underworld

I know they are not going to like what I have to tell them. This is not something I am asking them to let my sisters do. I am telling them that they are doing this. They are the only two that can do this. I guess Alexis could, but I don’t think they would tell her anything. They are not afraid of her like they are my sisters. Even if her father is Hades. I wait until they are all here, and they all take their regular seats. Yes, we have had enough meetings that we all have our regular seats. It’s quite sad and way too predictable. I took a deep breath and shot a look at Rye.

“Ok, a few of us visited the angels a couple of weeks ago. Now it’s time that we visit the underworld.” I tell them.

“You are not whoring me out to demons.” Seth states.

That wins a few laughs. He is still hurt about that. Most guys would have been eating that shit up. I am so used to it that it no longer bothers me. The first few times I went I felt very objectified. Now it’s just irritating.

“Don’t worry Seth none of us will be going,” I say.

“Why do I have a feeling we are not going to like who you are about to tell us? Who is going?” Nate asks.

“You’re not.” I reply.

“My sisters will be going. They are the only two that can.” I say.

No reason to beat around the bush. I heard several growls and saw an orange flame come from Blake. Yeah, I knew they wouldn’t be thrilled with this revelation. It is what it is. I guess I could go but they aren’t as afraid of me as they are my sisters. This is just the truth. I look around the room, and everyone looks pissed off.

“Sorry, but they are the only ones that can get anyone to say anything. This is just how it is.” I tell them.

I know that they all know this. They aren’t happy, but they know this is the only way. I just hope they let Uncle Hades know that they are coming. If not, it won’t take long for him to hear about it. My sisters like to make an entrance, so I am sure they will pull something dramatic.

Mykenzie

Oh, the underworld, what a lovely place. Lovely place if you like depressing shit. We had just got here. Regardless of what our asshat of a brother thinks, we did not make any grand entrance. We are just walking around minding our own business. We haven’t even started asking around yet. We just want to observe. We know who knew Asmoday and who he was friends with. We casually walk, drink our coffee, and eat breakfast sandwiches. We sit on a rock and watch everyone do whatever it is they are doing.

“You know I love it when you two visit.” Uncle Hades says.

We turn to him and give him our most sweet and most innocent smiles. He is definitely our favourite. When the others were trying to make us into what they thought a goddess should be, he was telling them to leave us alone. He would tell them that everything they were doing would make the two of us go in the opposite direction they wanted. They should have listened to him. They wanted cute little sweet girlie girls. They got tattooed, body piercings, and a fuck you attitude. He laughed at the others when they asked what happened.

Why? All we did was show them how a goddess is supposed to act. Just like their mother and the other goddesses here. What did we do wrong? - Zeus

We just stood there why Uncle Hades took our side after they saw all of our tattoos and piercings. Not that we care about their opinions. They also didn’t like our newly dyed hair. Again we don’t care.

Oh seriously, where did those two disappear to? Wait, if those two are MIA, where is Dominick?

- Throwing a larger-than-life temper tantrum. That’s how we figured out they were not here - Mykayla.

Well, that makes sense. I can only imagine the epic tantrum that boy is throwing, not being able to find my daughter. I look at Mykenzie, and she shrugs her shoulders. What are we supposed to do?

“Who are those two?” The demon asks.

I turn around. Ok, new power found. They're walking towards us are the two missing toddlers. Xaydyn lets out a shriek and starts running towards Mykenzie. I pick up Jordyn and give her a look. She tries to give me an innocent look.

“Your daddy is losing his shit because you disappeared,” I tell her.

A very sad look crosses her face. She lays her head on my shoulder. I hear a booming voice, and then Uncle Hades appears.

“Why are there two random children wandering around down here?” He asks loudly.

“These two came looking for us. Apparently, a new power has surfaced.” I tell him.

He looks at his niece and nephew and tells them this is no place for kids. Seriously, it’s no place for fucking anyone. We say goodbye to the demon and Uncle Hades and head home with wayward toddlers. This should be a fun situation to defuse.
