One - Hundred Ten: More Bad News

I made it to the new place late last night. Marshall hasn’t arrived yet, but I knew he had to make the cabin appear like it hasn’t been used in a long time. I still can’t believe they got Ian. I have to say it was damn smart of them to use Malyka as bait. I was amazed at how much she does look like Leah. Oh yeah, I just heard that she is pregnant. I wonder if Ian knows. That should piss him off. He hates Marcus and being with the woman he wants makes him hate him more. I can only imagine how much Ian is gonna hate Marcus once he finds out she is pregnant with Marcus’s baby. I also found out that Mykayla and Kylani had their babies. Oh, and Mykayla had twins which was a surprise to everyone. Plus it was a girl. Kylani’s twins are both boys. I walk out into the living room and there is still no sign of Marshall. I wonder if he had to stay an extra day for some strange reason.

Ok, now I am getting concerned because Marshall still has not shown up and it’s almost night. Where in the fuck is he? I am sitting here eating dinner when I get a knock on the door. I tell whoever it is to come in. In walks Darrius and he looks pissed and worried.

“What’s up?” I ask.

“We just got a letter delivered to the packhouse. It had a picture in it.” Darrius answers.

He shows me the picture. WHAT THE FUCK? I see Ian chained to the ground and not far from him is Marshall chained to the ground as well. I can’t believe this shit. How in the fuck did they get Marshall? He was at the cabin on Darrius’s territory.

“How the fuck did they get Marshall?” I ground out.

“They took him from the cabin. I went to check on him to see if he left. He wasn’t there but all his shit was. I found a coffee cup and we had it tested. There was a large number of sleeping pills mixed in the coffee. I also caught a scent. Phantom was there at some point. I am guessing to carry a passed out Marshall off.” He tells me.

“Phantom didn’t drug him. Who was watching him and how did they find the cabin?” I ask.

“We have no idea. Thomas and I have been going through everything to figure out who was there. The only scent we could pick up was Phantoms.” He explains.

“What are we going to do. We can’t deny the high council..” Thomas says

“I am not sure. I know we can’t deny them, but we can’t let them see all of it either.” I tell him.

This can’t be happening. I am starting to regret getting involved in this plan. As much as I want to ruin Silver Moon I sure as hell don’t want to lose my pack. I need to talk to both Damian and Asmoday. Asmoday has as much to lose as I do if I get my Alpha title stripped. I have been helping him for years with his black market business. I call him and tell him we need to meet. He tells me that Damian and he have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow and he tells me where to come. We need to figure this shit out now. The high council will be here in three days.

This is perfect, we have Alpha Darrius running scared. I watched as he read the letter from them and his expression was priceless. I can tell he is worried since he has no idea what information we sent to them. We did find out that he has been helping the black market dealer for years. I knew this guy was shady but I was even surprised by this. However, at the same time I am also not surprised. I do love to see him sweating bullets. Now the three of us get to sit back and watch the shit show play out.
