I fight a grin when every instructor turns to look at her, giving her various looks of incredulity.

She shakes her head, letting me know she sees them, but she stays focused on Nicholas. He turns to look at her, and she gives him an encouraging nod.

Alpha Dane calls the start, and Nicholas takes off running.

I step up behind T, putting my hands on her hips as we listen. I know she’s hoping he figures it out. I press a kiss to the top of her head.

“Sorry!” he says, holding up his hands. “But I did it. I finally got past level four! I didn’t understand what you were telling me until I was up there, but then it made sense! Thank you!”

I continue to glare at him as he goes to accept congratulations from the other Alphas. I feel Tiana’s hand on my cheek, drawing my gaze to hers.

“Mine,” I growl softly.

“Yes, I am,” she says, lifting up on her toes to kiss me.

Cole, Shane, and I are in a heated battle for top position on the leaderboard. The competition between us has become fierce. Now that Cassie is tutoring me in Finance, I’ve been able to keep up with them by acing my tests. I still hate working with numbers, but at least it makes sense to me now.

About a month before graduation, I get the call I’ve been waiting for.

“You named her after our mother?” Shane says softly.

“We did,” Enya says in the background.

Christian turns the phone so we can see Enya who looks exhausted but happy. “You named her after both our mothers,” I say, leaning into Shane. “How are you feeling, Enya?”

“Tired, but so happy that she’s finally here. Your parents are here. They went to call the others to let them know. I think they’re planning to stay until you come home.”

“How is school?” Christian asks.

“It’s good. It will be better if I can get enough points to beat this guy,” I joke.

“Not going to happen, gorgeous,” he says, kissing the side of my head.
