Looking at the neatly lined-up armored guards, James and the others frowned simultaneously.
“Wait outside the palace. Anyone who dares to move will be killed without mercy,” Clayton ordered, directing his words toward Yadira and the Dooms’ high-ranking members.
Shortly after, a group of guards at the Ninth Xaeclon rank rushed over and surrounded them.
Yadira was anxious but hesitated to speak.
“My guests, please come this way,” Clayton addressed James’ group, making a gesture of invitation.
After looking at Thea, James smiled faintly. “Thank you for the hospitality.”
With that, he took the lead and ascended the stairs. Thea, Yaretzi, Yianni, Youcef, and Wyot followed him.
As they stepped into the golden palace, a series of explosions suddenly sounded on both sides.
James and the others were startled by a full 81-gun salute. Then, on the red carpet in front, a handsome man in a purple robe, accompanied by a woman, hurriedly came to greet them.
“My name is Truett. I welcome you on behalf of the Jademora Empire,” the handsome young man clasped his hands and immediately bowed to James’ group.
“Welcome, respected seniors. I’m Rubella.” The beautiful woman also greeted them with a respectful bow and clasped hands.
James was relieved by their humble behavior. After so much time had passed, they were his most trusted comrades. It was unfortunate they could not reunite because of the circumstances.
Truett and Rubella greeted everyone one by one, then finally set their eyes on Thora.
Rubella stared at her and blurted, “You’re still alive?”
Truett instantly grasped the situation and reassured, “I’m glad you survived. Don’t worry. We’ll make sure you are compensated for the sufferings you endured.”
Thora’s eyes reddened, and she attempted to kneel to the ground. However, she was stopped by Thea.
At that moment, James sensed a figure flicker on the throne at the end of the red carpet. He said coldly, “Let’s cut to the chase, Grand Stewards.”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
