With a scream, Quintinus was enveloped by the explosion. His Caeloros Lights flared up, shining through the blood and flesh. The self-destruction of Mordecai and Dillon severely injured him. Quintus took a deep breath and said smilingly, “I was betting on how genuine your friendship with James was. I believed you would step in to help him.”

Morgott scratched his head and said frustratedly, “James might still be mad at me. Since he doesn’t want to bother with me, I won’t with him either.”

Then, he looked at Harper and said mischievously, “However, there is someone here I like. Whoever touches her will have to deal with me.”
