James laughed, “That would be too much to ask of you three. I wouldn’t count on it. I mentioned there were four forces within the Wuia Palace—mine, yours, and the other two…”
Quintus quickly caught on. He turned to Yefrenes and said, “He wants our help to deal with Xanthakos and the Waitara Path’s soul spirit…”
“How about you shut up?” Yefrenes interrupted him with a cold glare, then turned to James. “Your request isn’t an easy one.”
James shrugged. “Then there’s no deal. Well, coincidentally, I’ve just successfully built this formation and need a few powerful opponents to test it out. How about helping me with that?
“However, I’m only giving one chance. You’ll win big time if you succeed, but if you fail, don’t even think about ever returning to the Xanadu Realm as Caeloros Gods of Nothingness. You three will have to stay here.”
James’ words were a blatant threat to them.
Yefrenes’ anger boiled over as she saw James’ smug expression. He cunningly schemed to use them to deal with his opponents and pave the way for him to seize the Wuia Palace. By doing so, he could reserve his strength in fighting against her. It was a perfect plan of using others to do his dirty work.
She turned to Quintinus, silently cursing him. “Wasn’t this idiot so eager to use force just now? Why isn’t he saying anything now? Was one slap enough to tame him?”
Amos stood up and whispered, “We can’t trust him so easily, Your Divinity. We should at least get him to reveal Frona and show us the Caeloros Supreme Scepter to prove he has them.”
Amos echoed, “That’s indeed the Caeloros Supreme. He didn’t lie.”
Yefrenes cursed them in her mind but nodded agreeingly at the statements. “Since the Chosen One has shown such sincerity, and my two companions have shown a willingness to help you, I shall agree to your condition.”
She turned to Quintinus and Amos, then instructed, “Since you two agreed to his condition, the task of finding Xanthakos and the Waitara Path’s soul spirit will be yours. Go on.”
Quintinus and Amos were dumbfounded, realizing Yefrenes had shoved the responsibility onto them.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
