Lord Zenda and Zoltan looked at each other briefly. They could tell something had happened.
Zoltan was about to ask James what was going on, but Lord Zenda stopped him.
“Several esteemed guests have arrived. I’m afraid we need to move to another room for now,” James said through clenched teeth.
Sherman and Manny led James to a smaller room connected to the hall. Lord Zenda and Zoltan quickly followed them.
Behind them, Lesia dragged Neville along and entered the room as well.
A short while later, cultivators from six holy temples came into the Haurvatat Palace.
They were a little surprised to see that no one else was there inside the hall. However, each of them soon found a seat and sat down right away.
“The members of the Haurvatat Temple always act so high and mighty. Canʼt they show us a little respect?”
“Well, they have someone whoʼs a Chosen One. That’s why the other temples can never compare to them.”
“Watch your mouths. We’re at their temple, after all.”
“Why should I? It’s not like they can still act arrogant and superior around us now.”
“She told us to come here today. It’s fine if we can settle things in a civilized way. Otherwise, we’ll have to set things straight once and for all.”
While the others were talking amongst themselves, Lord Toviyyah sat with his eyes closed. It was impossible to tell what was going through his mind.
Suddenly, Lord Xandurr slammed his hand onto the table next to him and stood up. “Where the hell are the servants? Are they not even going to serve tea to their guests?”
Her gaze drifted across all of the faces there. Everyone could feel her eyes bore into them. “The Yin governor. Which of you took her? If you come clean and release her now, the Haurvatat Temple won’t take any action against you. Instead, we will reward you handsomely.
“If you decide to continue keeping her hostage and claim to have done it on the Haurvatat Templeʼs orders, I, Adina, will completely disregard that person as our friend and comrade once I find them.”
As soon as she said that, the other cultivators looked at each other nervously and murmured in low voices.
Just then, Lord Tzivya let out a scoff.
“Do you have something to say, Lord Tzivya?” Adina asked.
Lord Tzivya lifted her gaze and said unsmilingly, “Lord Haurvatat, you’re a Chosen One. Shouldnʼt you say things that are more appropriate to your status?”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
