Initially, Wynona did not think much of James before the match started. However, she changed her mind after their brief exchange.

As James walked toward her at an unhurried pace, Wynona generated and unleashed more of her aura. She lifted her arm and teleported toward James. There were gasps of surprise and amazement among the audience because they were shocked by how quickly Winona moved.

Despite her amazing speed and skill, Wynona still left behind spatial disruptions as she teleported. Moreover, cultivators of their level could easily detect those changes in the space around them.

As she reemerged before James and thrust her palm at him, James raised his hand and countered with his own palm just in time.

There was a loud sound as both hands slammed into each other. James was instantly thrown backward in the air due to the immense force coming from Wynona.

After he eventually steadied himself and got to his feet, James felt something hot gush from the back of his throat. He coughed up a mouthful of blood the next instant. James could also feel a throbbing pain in the arm he had used to parry Wynonaʼs attack.

James had only used his sheer physical strength instead of his Path Powers to withstand Wynona’s strength.

“That guy is a pushover! He couldnʼt even defend himself against a simple attack from Wynona! Yet, he had the audacity to challenge her?!” Some lower-ranked powerhouses commented amongst themselves. They thought James was clearly on the losing side. Only a small number of cultivators had noticed that James had only used his physical strength to defend himself.

Suddenly, tremors and loud sounds filled the arena as several explosions went off within the space that James was trapped in. Wynonaʼs powerful attacks had destroyed much of the arena. Fortunately, the arena was repaired instantly as the formation cast around that space took effect.

As things seemed to settle down for a moment, people could eventually spot James, who was lying motionless on the ground in a pool of blood. On the other hand, Wynona was staring at the man whilst she levitated in mid-air.

Just then, she noticed James slowly getting up from the ground. In a matter of seconds, the wounds on his body healed at a miraculous speed. The man appeared nonchalant as he straightened his clothes.

Then, James activated the Omniscience Path. A white halo seemed to surround him as his body glowed faintly. His spiritual powers skyrocketed and he seemed like a matchless war god at that moment.
