James stared at the bizarre palace before him cautiously. The formation was unique, and his Divine Sense could not penetrate it. Thus, he could not sense what was inside.

“Are you a human or a Doom?”

A hoarse voice came from inside the cage. It seemed that the person inside had not spoken in ages.

James furrowed his eyebrows. He came here to the Greater Realms to impersonate a Doom, infiltrate the Doom Race, and sow discord among the Ten Great Races to incite a conflict.

He did not know what was inside the cage.

After some contemplation, he said, “A Doom.”

“How did you get in?” The living being in the formation asked coldly.

James did not have the answer to this question.

“I don’t know.” James shrugged and said, “Will you believe me if I say I entered this formation by chance?”

“Hmph!”

The living being grunted coldly. Then, an immense power came from inside the formation.

James was on high alert. The moment he sensed the power, he hurriedly retreated. However, the power seemed to be chasing him.

“Dammit!”

James cursed and swiftly summoned his full strength. The Omniscience Path and his Chaos Power merged to form a terrifying power that blocked the attack. However, his body continued to stumble backward. The power only disappeared when he retreated from the plains.

Upon hearing this, James was puzzled. He was curious about what was inside the cage.

“What race are you? Why are you trapped here?’ James asked once more.

“I’m the one asking you questions, kid. If you hadn’t possessed two powers, you would have dropped dead the moment you stepped in.”

Hearing this, James’ blood ran cold.

He was only alive because he possessed two powers. So was the imprisoned creature inside a human or a Doom?

James contemplated.
