Chapter 2679
The Blade Sect’s Elder sat in the head seat of the City Lord’s Mansion’s living room.
Meanwhile, James sat beside him.
Maids of the City Lord’s Mansion walked over with some high-quality spiritual fruits and placed them on the table before James.
The Blade Sect’s Elder caressed his white beard and said smilingly,” What’s the matter, James?”
James stood up, clasped his fists, and said, “Sir, I plan to head to the Blade Sect in advance. Can you give me a token so I can enter smoothly?”
The Blade Sect’s Elder frowned and said, “Are you in a rush to go to the Blade Sect?”
“Mhm.” James nodded.
The Blade Sect’s Elder asked, “Why?”
James did not tell the truth but made up an excuse.
After a slight hesitation, the Blade Sect’s Elder took out a token and handed it to
James, saying, “This is my token. You’ll be able to enter the Blade Sect smoothly with it. But, I must warn you that the Blade Sect is heavily guarded, so don’t wander around as you please after entering.”
“Alright, I understand. Thank you for the reminder, Sir.”
James put away the token.
Then, he turned around and left the City Lord’s Mansion.
Sheldon looked at James and inquired, “Are you leaving, Mr. Caden?”
James nodded and replied, “Yeah. I’m heading to the Blade Sect.”
“I’m being punished here to guard this city and can’t leave for now. I won’t be able to accompany you.”
James was troubled by Sheldon.
He never intended to be a teacher to Sheldon, but Sheldon insisted, so he had no choice.
“I’ll be fine alone.”
Sheldon said, “My punishment will be for another hundred years. I’ll return to the sect to see you after a hundred years.”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
