Chapter 1937
James hastily made his way to the Callahans' villa.
As soon as he entered the villa, he asked anxiously, "Winnie? Where's Winnie?”
He was aware that Winnie had been taken, but his mind was clouded by his worry for her.
The entire Callahan family remained silent.
James plopped himself down on the sofa. He pulled out his phone again and called Maxine.
Meanwhile, in Cansington, Maxine was standing on the top of a building. From here, she could see the Callahans' villa. Behind her stood a few men.
"Chancellor, they've been escorted out of Cansington,” said the person behind her.
“Alright.” Maxine nodded softly and said, "Pass down the order to take good care of the child. Don’t let the child suffer any harm.”
"Yes."
Right then, her phone started to ring. Remaining calm and collected, she answered it.
Over the phone, James’ roar could be heard, "Maxine, what exactly are you trying to do?"
His voice was so loud that Maxine’s eardrums went numb. She held the phone away slightly. Maxine did not start speaking until James stopped. With a soft voice, she said, "I told you, didn't I? Bring Thea'’s head to me, and the child will live. Otherwise, the child will die.”
‘Thea is missing.” James inhaled deeply and said, "I haven't seen Thea in six months.”
James chose to lie. He wanted to first appease Maxine and ensure his child's safety.
After hearing his words, Maxine furrowed her brow. During this period of time, she was watching James closely. She knew James was in closed- door meditation at Mt. Thunder Pass in the Southern Plains, but there was no sign of Thea.
"What happened?” she asked, her brows knitted. "Why is Thea missing?"
"How would I know?” James took a deep breath and said, "Maxine, where are you? I'll come to you. Don't hurt the child. She's innocent. You can make any request, and I'll accept.”
Henry did not say anything else.
As soon as he tracked down Maxine, he found out what she had done. He was aware that Maxine had taken James’ child. Henry continued on without pausing and got in touch with the King of Sol right away.
Meanwhile, James was still making calls nonstop.
After several attempts, Maxine eventually answered his call.
This time, James did not become enraged. He suppressed his emotions, calmed himself down, and asked calmly, "I know you're still in Cansington. Where are you? I'll come to see you."
Maxine looked at the time. It was already after three o'clock in the morning. She said, "It's late today. Tomorrow. I'll contact you tomorrow.”
After saying that, she ended the call.
James leaned back against the sofa.
That night, he did not sleep.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
