Just as he took a step forward, the machinery activated, and the passageway was blocked. He staggered backward and catalyzed True Energy to destroy the obstacle. Even though his force was immense, the door did not budge at all.

Wearing a grim expression, he scrutinized his surroundings in search of the machinery to open the door and continue forward.

“Callan…”

A voice came from behind.

Callan turned his head and saw Bennett.

He nodded.

“What’s going on?” Bennett walked over to him and asked.

Callan said, “Judging by the situation, there was a fierce battle here not too long ago. If I guess correctly, James and the others have been captured. At the moment, I’m thinking of a way to deal with the blocked passageway.”

“Allow me.”

Bennett raised his arm, and powerful True Energy gathered in his palm.
