Maxine nibbled her lips.She wanted Tobias to save James.

However, she did not dare voice her opinion.

After some time, she got up and left.

Maxine lowered her head and said, "Bobby..."

Then, he grabbed her by the hair and slapped her across the face.

Why did you fool around with James when you were about to marry into the Blithe family? Do you know that we’ re now the laughingstock of the world?"

A rebuke came.A middle-aged man walked over to them.

Bobby immediately released his grip and greeted the man respectfully.

"Dad, I’m teaching this b*tch a lesson."

Sawyer glanced at Maxine and said coldly, "What are you standing there for? Get lost!"

With her head lowered, Maxine hurriedly left.

Maxine gave Thea a call.
