Talented Hairess A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 878

It had been some time since Yvette last returned, and as soon as the maids received news of her arrival, they thoroughly cleaned the entire castle.

"My baby really does have quite the empire," Wilson teased in his lazy, magnetic voice, his large hand resting around her slender waist.

A charming smile lingered on his lips as he admired the decorations of the grand hall, every corner exuding an air of extravagance.

Yvette blinked and modestly replied, "It's alright."

To her, this wasn't nearly enough to qualify as a vast empire.

Trailing behind them, Samuel and Apollo were both wide-eyed with shock.

If they weren't mistaken, every single piece of décor in the hall was a rare and invaluable antique or artifact. A quick estimation of their combined worth had to be in the billions.

Most people would treat such treasures as their most prized possessions, carefully storing them away. Yet Yvette had casually displayed them out in the open!

Sharing a glance, Samuel and Apollo couldn't help but marvel silently in their hearts.

They used to think Wilson was wealthy enough. But compared to him, Yvette wasn't the least bit inferior when it came to money!

"Alright"? Wilson chuckled indulgently, raising an eyebrow lazily.

It seemed he needed to work even harder to earn more. Otherwise, Yvette might one day dislike him for not having enough money.

Yvette turned and directed her gaze toward Samuel and Apollo. "I've had rooms prepared for you both. Go get some rest."

Warmth filled their hearts as they respectfully responded, "Thank you, Ms. Murray!"

"Baby, it's late. Let's head to bed early too."

Before she could respond, Wilson had already taken her hand and was leading her toward her bedroom with practiced ease.

Yvette went silent.

If he learned any more, she feared she wouldn't be able to get out of bed in the future…

"Really? No more learning?"

His captivating eyes narrowed slightly, exuding an enchanting charm like a male siren. Yet his tone remained innocently curious.

"I think there's still room for improvement…"

Seeing that this man was starting to act up again, Yvette's ears burned hotter.

"Shut up!"

Wilson chuckled at the sight of her embarrassed and annoyed expression but obediently fell silent. He dutifully followed her into the bedroom.

After all, Yvette was shy. If he truly angered her, he'd end up banished to the study for the night.
