Talented Hairess A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 845

Victoria panicked inwardly.

It was over! It was all over for her!

Martha clutched at her chest, crying out, "You've really disappointed me!"

She really hadn't expected the young lady she had watched grow up, who usually looked so kind and demure, to treat her like this!

Now that the truth had been exposed, Victoria decided to simply stop pretending.

She glared hatefully at Martha. 'You say you've always treated me well? Ha! How laughable!"

"You obviously knew how I felt about Wilson, yet you chose a country bumpkin like Yvette to become the future lady of the Quinn household!"

Martha felt even more disappointed to hear her words.

"Putting aside the fact that Yvie and Will's engagement had been agreed upon since they were young, why would Will need to marry you just because you like him? You should know better than anyone that he doesn't like you!

"Also, you like Will not because you truly like him as a person but because you like the power and authority he wields!"

With Martha exposing her deepest desires, Victoria could no longer control her expression. She simply felt as if her face was burning with anger and embarrassment.

She didn't think that old hag would actually have already seen through her intentions!

Wilson knew that Martha's strange behavior definitely had something to do with Victoria, but he hadn't expected her to go so far as to dare use the hypnotizing fragrance to make Martha fall from the second floor.

"You sure are bold!" he told her angrily, seething.

His eyes were full of murderous intent, and he gave off a pressure so intense that it could make anyone shiver.

She had just been careless today, which led to her being exposed. However, she had always cleaned up after herself well in the past. Yvette would never be able to find any evidence against her!

Samuel called out, "Ms. Yvette, I've brought him!"

Victoria initially felt even more disdainful at his words, but when she saw the face of the person who entered, she instantly paled. She clenched her hands into fists at her sides, looking as shocked as if she'd seen a ghost.

"L-Lionel… How are you still alive?"

How could this be?

Back then, she'd even coated the knife with poison before stabbing Lionel, leaving nothing to change. It was all to ensure that her secrets were safe!

So why was he still alive?
