Talented Hairess A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 841

Lauriane looked defiantly at Victoria, clutching at her swollen face while asking, "What right do you have to drive me out of Quinn Manor?"

Seeing as she still dared talk back, Victoria's face grew colder, and she harshly slapped her again. Her arrogance was on full display.

"Mrs. Quinn Senior is currently still recuperating, so the affairs of Quinn Manor have been left to me. As things are now, do you think I'm not qualified enough to drive you out of the manor?"

Lauriane's defiance grew at yet another slap from Victoria.

"Even so, Mrs. Quinn Senior has always been kind toward us household staff and definitely wouldn't drive us out over a small matter like this! You still have no right to chase me away without her approval!"

"Shut up!"

When Jimmy saw Victoria's expression becoming more and more ugly, he hurriedly spoke up fawningly.

"Ms. Olson is managing Quinn Manor in Mrs. Quinn Senior's stead right now, so she can do as she wishes. Besides, Ms. Olson is also the future lady of the Quinn household, so simply driving you out for disrespecting her is already letting you off lightly!"

Victoria's mood finally improved a little at his flattery, and she looked haughtily at Lauriane.

"Do you hear that? I'm now the lady of the Quinn household, so even having you put to death is a simple matter for me, much less driving you out of the manor!"

"Screw that! How are you the lady of the Quinn household? Although Mr. Quinn and Ms. Murray have canceled their engagement, when did Mr. Quinn ever say he would marry you?

"Stop flattering yourself! Mr. Quinn doesn't have his eyes on you at all, and you can't hold a candle to Ms. Murray!

"Also, if not for Mrs. Quinn Senior forcing Mr. Quinn to cancel his engagement to Ms. Murray, he would never have done so with how much he likes her!"

Every one of Lauriane's words stabbed deeply into Victoria's heart, causing her barely improved mood to darken again.

She dared claim that she couldn't match up to Yvette!

Victoria froze, subsequently noticing Yvette walking into the room in large strides. Her eyes darkened sinisterly, and at the same time, a foreboding feeling rose within her.

Why was Yvette here?

Aloud, she asked, "Why are you here, Yvie?"

She suppressed the faint unease in her heart and put on a gentle and kind facade, but in contrast, her next words were extremely rude.

"You and Wilson have already canceled your engagement, and Mrs. Quinn Senior doesn't wish to see you right now. I don't think it's appropriate for you to be here right now! Mr. Lacroix, see her out, please!"

She evidently already completely considered herself the lady of the Quinn household, as she immediately called for Jimmy to escort Yvette out without even sparing her a glance.

Just then, a new voice interjected, asking, "Who gave you the nerve to drive my dear Yvie out?"
