Martha appeared somewhat dazed but nodded along. "Yes, Victoria is a good and kind child!"

Victoria's smile became even sweeter as she softly said, "It's only right for me to keep Mrs. Quinn Senior company. As long as she doesn't find me annoying, I'm willing to come and visit every day!"

Martha rubbed her forehead, looking more dazed than before. Her complexion was noticeably worse than it had been.

"Why would I find you annoying? I'm very happy that you came to keep me company, Victoria!"

"Ms. Olson, with you here, I can rest easy and prepare medicine for Mrs. Quinn Senior!" Jimmy said.
