Talented Hairess A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 777

Skyla was worried. "Besides, this is Kaiser Casino—a territory of the Shadow Alliance! No one is allowed to stir up trouble here!"

She continued, "Don't you understand? In Yenosha, the Shadow Alliance is practically God. Of all people, they're the last ones you want to offend!"

"Oh," Miguel replied calmly. He was unfazed, unlike the visibly anxious Skyla.

What was the big deal? Yvette had already crossed the Shadow Alliance many times over.

"Stop right there!"

Kaiser Casino's guards arrived swiftly, surrounding Yvette.

"Who are you? Don't you know that no one is allowed to cause trouble in Kaiser Casino?"

"Well, isn't that convenient?" Yvette's tongue pressed lightly against her teeth; instead of any sign of fear, a hint of wicked amusement crossed her face.

She said brazenly, "I came here today precisely to cause trouble."

Her words sent a shockwave across the crowd. No one could believe someone would actually dare act so boldly on Shadow Alliance's territory!

Skyla stared at Yvette, momentarily dazed, her heartbeat quickening.

How arrogant! No one had ever dared be this arrogant in front of the Shadow Alliance before!

But… wow! This person really was incredibly handsome!

"How dare you! You have quite the nerve to come here and cause trouble on Shadow Alliance's territory!"

Skyla quickly snapped out of her thoughts and stepped forward, trying to plead on Yvette's behalf. "He's my friend. This is his first time coming to Kaiser Casino, and he's still unfamiliar with the rules. Could you let it slide just this once, for the sake of the Granger family?"

The lead guard's face remained impassive. "Ms. Granger, this is a rule set personally by the boss. Anyone who violates it must be punished accordingly."

"Careful." Yvette reached out to steady Skyla, who nearly stumbled in the commotion, brushing a stray lock of her hair back into place.

Her tone was casual, almost indifferent, yet inexplicably reassuring. "You'd better get going. Wouldn't want to scare you lovely ladies."

Looking into Yvette's mischievously upturned fox-like eyes, Skyla felt her heartbeat skip. She couldn't recover for a long moment.

It was over—she'd fallen in love…

The other heiresses close to Skyla quickly dragged her away, scrambling to escape as the rest of the crowd rushed toward the exits.

As Yvette watched the last of the innocent bystanders evacuate Kaiser Casino, her eyebrows arched lazily.

"Time to put our plan in motion," she said in an unhurried tone.
