Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1519

“What did you just say?” Mia spun around, half an eye mask still dangling from her face.

It was late, and Hansen’s bedroom door creaked open. Andre gave his son a gentle nudge—okay, maybe not so gentle—on the backside and ushered him in. “Go sleep with your grandpa. If you get into trouble again, I’ll send you off to a Swiss boarding school.”

At this point, even the toughest local boarding schools couldn’t handle Henry.

Hansen, still half-asleep, peered down at his grandson, who was pouting and rubbing his behind. “What happened now?”

“Dad’s looking for a new girlfriend~”

Hansen just stared at him, speechless.

Quickly, Hansen clapped his hand over Henry’s mouth. “Easy now, kiddo. Let’s both try to stay out of trouble tonight, yeah?”

Meanwhile, in the master bedroom, Andre perched anxiously on the edge of the bed, eager to explain. “It’s Maja—she was found in the Basque region. Conner said she’s got a new love interest, and I was surprised, so I repeated it. Honestly, where would I even find a new romance? You’re more than enough excitement for a lifetime.”

“Oh, so I’m the original romance, am I?”

Andre hesitated, suddenly unsure how to answer—every option seemed like a trap.

“Maja’s really been found?”

“She has.”

“And she really has a new love?”

Andre, a little distracted, let his hand wander absently to Mia’s thigh. “No idea. Conner’s just guessing.”

All this drama over one guy.

Andre remembered what Conner had said: “If that’s not love, then what is?”

But Mia, tilting her head and ignoring his wandering hand, mused, “No, honey, if I ever lost you, I wouldn’t remarry—let alone fall in love again. Maja’s not the type to move on quickly. She spent years falling for Emmery. How could she just catch feelings for someone else so soon?”

Andre sighed. “Mia, can we not use us as the example for everything?”

“Fine. Then get your hand off my leg.”

Cooper didn’t look surprised. “It was only a matter of time. The Dark Web’s not as mysterious as it pretends to be.”

“There’s more,” she teased. “She made a post herself, asking for a face-to-face with Miles. And guess who’s with her? Mr. Nettleton’s people.” She paused, clearly enjoying Cooper’s silence. “Didn’t expect that one, did you?”

Cooper opened his laptop, his tone frosty. “Not my problem. They can do whatever they want.”

“Figures. The only one you care about is your little darling. Where’s our sweetie?”

“She’s mine.”

“So stingy.”

Maple Lane.

Leo sat at his desk, staring at the Dark Web homepage, chin in his hand and brow furrowed.

Anya stepped out with a bowl of freshly cut fruit. “Chad, come eat before this goes bad! I bought so much when I left, and you barely touched any of it. Good thing I’m back to finish it off.” College would be starting soon, and with Anya home, the place finally felt like a real home again.
