Suzanne’s expression froze momentarily, Was Austin’s mother really this approachable?

She instantly felt more at ease.

Suzanne quickly regained her composure before respectfully greeting, “Hello, Mrs. Hall.”

Felicia frowned. “Mrs. Hall? You’ve already registered your marriage, so why haven’t you changed how you address me?”

Austin smiled lightly and bent down slightly to look at her. “Grwet her.

Suzanne’s expression stiffened, and under Felicia’s expectant gaze, she softly said, “Mom”

“Yes!” Felicia immediately responded with a beaming smile.

Suzanne presented Felicia with the gift she had prepared, holding it carefully in her hands. “This is a gift I prepared for you. I hope you like it.”

Since it was her first time meeting her in–laws, Suzanne naturally spoke formally.

Felicia took the gift from her with a delighted expression, saying, “You’re so thoughtful! You even prepared a gift. I’m already happy you came over.

She smiled as she patted the spor next to her. “Come, sit beside me.”

When she looked at her daughter–in–law, Felicia felt more and more fond of her. She was truly elegant and stunning

Suzanne smiled and walked to sit beside Felicia

Telicia reined in her emotions and turned to glare at Austin, who was still standing nearby. “Why are you standing there le a fool? Go to my room and take out the things from the cabinet

Austin said nothing, his expression remaining indifferent as he turned and walled to Felicia’s room

Felicia took Suzanne’s hand in hers, gently parting the back of it. She said warmly, “Suzanne, if that beat ever bullies you, you must definitely tell me. I’ll help you teach him a lesson

Suzanne hadn’t expected Felicia to be so easygoing and have such a gentle personality. She was not at all pretentious

Others often said how Austin was hard to deal with, bur Suzanne found him to be a good person. He just had a cold appearance on the outside
