Suzanne Yates and Austin Hall novel Chapter 239

So, this was why Jenson had been bothering her so much lately. He didn't have a good script to work on.

Of course. He never did anything without a reason. Jenson and Seline were truly a match made in heaven.

Suzanne stood up abruptly, her icy gaze fixed on Jenson. "Sorry, but I don't have time for this," she said coldly.

In the past, she had done things for Jenson because she cared about him. But now? What gave him the right to demand anything from her?

The thought was laughable.

Jenson's expression turned grim, and his hands were clenched into fists under the table. His veins were bulging from the strain. But for the sake of the script, he forced himself to stay calm.

"Suzanne, stop being difficult," he said, his voice soft but strained.

Suzanne shot him a cold look. Who was being difficult? Just looking at him made her feel disgusted. Without another word, she turned and walked away.

Jenson was furious, but he knew if he let her leave now, it would be nearly impossible to get her to meet him again. He quickly grabbed her arm and kept his voice low. "Suzanne, when did you become so cold?"

Suzanne glanced down at his hand on her arm, feeling nothing but revulsion. When she needed him, he had always accused her of being selfish and inconsiderate. But now that she was leaving him alone, he had the nerve to call her cold?

How ridiculous.

She tried to pull her arm free. Her voice was firm as she said, "Jenson, you look pathetic right now."

Jenson immediately let go, his expression dark with anger. He glared at her, his words sharp. "At least I saved you that day."

He thought Suzanne had no sense of gratitude. She was completely ungrateful!
