Chapter 275 It Was All an Illusion

“N-Nate, where are you bringing me?” Nathan remained quiet with a furious expression.

Even though the car had reached the outskirts, he had no intentions of stopping. Suddenly, he slammed on the brake, causing Melanie to swing forward uncontrollably before her head crashed into the windscreen in front.

“Aaaahh!” she yelled loudly due to the pain.

Nathan did not fasten the seatbelt for her, and her hands were tied up. This emergency brake had knocked her against the glass, hurting her head.

Nathan did not even look at her. Instead, he merely stared straight ahead.

After Melanie finally struggled to get up, the car started moving once more. Just when she had gotten used to the speed, the car suddenly stopped again.

There weren’t many cars at the outskirts of the city, so he could drive quickly and brake immediately.
