Hannah looked at him studying the lines on his face, every crease trying to figure out what was running through his mind. She knew he was very angry that someone had recognized him, and even without her telling him he could suspect that she was talking about the man who had been gunning for his life for so long. He was closer than he thought, and that only meant that Hannah and the rest of the people that you care about, his mother and father they are all in danger, and he was the only one who could protect them. it would have been easier if his parents were not against Hannah he would have protected them, but they were against her so his attention was to be divided. That brought him great distress even though he did not show it, when he lifted off his face, he looked at her.

“ Who is it?”

“ I don't know”

“ I mean I could not see his face”

“This is why I wanted to go with you”

“ What difference would it have made, and besides nothing happened to me, I already told you that I got away. he must think that I'm weak, but then, he has no idea that I'm not weak at all, so he could not get to me I already knew his plan more than he thought he knew it, and thought that just by following me, he will get to leave me out to a secluded place, and probably abduct me or kill me. I wasn't so foolish to let my guard down, and I wasn't so eager, I knew it would be too dangerous for me to try, and do it alone because he knew me and there but then I didn't know who he was, and what sort of people he has brought along to try and hurt me”

“It's a good thing you did not go after him” Shawn ran his hand through his face, he was worried about her, all the time she had left the house he had been thinking of her and I wanted to give her a call, but then, she knows she said she wanted to be alone, and he thought and decided to leave it. she might not be happy with him if he gave her a call, so he decided not to do it at all I'm just waiting for her to get back.

“ I was worried about you”

“Why would you be worried about me when you are the one out there with him alone?”

“ Because I know that he's after you even if he managed to get to me, I don't think he would have done anything to me as much as you would have done something to you if he finds you, you said it yourself he wants you dead, and he has attacked you before which only means that he's waiting for the right opportunity attack you again, and it is only a matter of time before you finally get to know who the enemy is”

“ Before that time comes, I don't want you to leave the house alone, I don't want to go to places that you know are not filled with people, if anything is to happen to you, I would die”

“What if the enemy sneaks into the house or perhaps sneaks into the pack house during a meeting and gets to them? I don't think you should take any chance at all”

“What do you want me to do? do you want me to stay close to them all the time? do you want me to never leave their side? I have already provided the guards for them so that they can be able to be with them at all times to protect them just in case I am not there with them, or in case I need to protect someone else that I care about more”

she knew that he was talking about him, but then she kept quiet about it, he was rather too blunt with his feelings and she doesn't like it at all, but then there was nothing that she could do other than to smile at him.

“This is your parents you are talking about I am not saying that she should stay close to them all the time but all I want you to do is at least act as though they are important and that you care about them and want to protect them with everything that you have you”

Do I have to pretend because honestly, I don't think I want to protect them with everything that I have in me, the only one I want to protect with all my heart is you and not them”
