When Shawn and Hannah were done with their breakfast, Hannah went off to her room while Shawn left his house, it had been a while since he had taken a walk around the pack. Walking off the dining heading towards the living room and off outside the house, he bumped into his father tending to the beautiful flowers that were decorating his house. he was surprised to see that he was seeing the one who tended to the flower up to date. he thought that he was getting old and had passed it down to one of the workers in the house, but then he still took time and always tended to his flowers. he stared at him for a moment and then turned around just needing to walk the other way so as not to be stopped by him when his father called him and he halted.

“ You should come over here”

Shawn would have ignored him and walked the other way. Still, after having the little talk with Hannah earlier in the dining room he finally realized that she was probably right, and if he continued he might not be able to soften the heart of his parents. They might never accept her as the woman he was going to get married to. That was not what he wanted, he wanted her to get their approval and for them to finally realize that despite anything she was the only one who stood by his side when he was Far Away and she cared for him even though he never had a dime on him.

“ why?”

“ Can't you listen to your father and get over without asking questions?”

“ I wanted to, but there I know who my father is, the moment that I get closer to that place, he will just end up saying things that will just piss me off, so it is better I turn around and continue heading to where I was heading to”

“ Where are you heading to?”

“ outside the house, I intend to take a walk around the pack, it has been a while since I've taken a walk around my pack. I've been to the neighboring packs and other packs for many years I have been on the run, and now I have finally back so it's time that I take a walk around the pack, head for the woods, and run to the mountains and see my pack. perhaps I might figure out what I want”

“ what is it that you want?”

Shawn glares at his father, if it was someone else who had said that, he would not hesitate to smash his face for saying such a thing for he knew that Hannah was more than qualified to be the lead of this Pack, and she was going to stay by his side to lead the people more than anyone else, even more than his mother.

“You think she is not capable because she has a Shady past, is that it? is that how you judge people? is that how you see the rest of the people? Do you think I want some Little Miss Perfect to be my mate? I have never wanted that and even the moon goddess knows it as well but then you and mum keep pushing it and thinking that I am still that little boy who you want to control. I am not, all my life I have always wanted to be an Alpha who will lead his people and always be by their side, but then I also wanted to have my mate who I will protect”

“And so?”

“What?” he was surprised. “ Tell me, Father, what exactly did mom do as a Luna because in my eyes she didn't do anything at all”
