"You are what?" He knew what he heard but just wanted to make sure that she was telling him everything and not leaving anything else behind.

"I am a substitute, I wasn't the one that was Supposed to he your bride, it was meant to be my sister, actually my step sister Jessica but she backed away last minute after what happened to your family and I had to take it up"

"Why? Do you know what you were getting yourself into? You know how all these things ends? It leaves you in heart ache and you will be the only one who gets to suffer it all, can you bear it all?" Shawn was not trying to get hard in her, he wanted to understand her and for her to tell him everything, he knows that she isn't the sort of woman who would do anything without a reason.
