Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared novel Chapter 162

Nancy's face turned gloomy. She turned to look at Vivian and said, "Vivian, don't belittle Dad. Don't forget, you are also his daughter. Do you think Lily alone could have given birth to you?"

Vivian couldn't argue with that. She disdainfully glared at Nancy, then bent over and got into the car.

This time, Vivian didn't cover Nancy's head but allowed her to sit freely in the car.

Nancy looked at the scenery outside the window. As time passed, her mood became increasingly tense. The closer they got to Noah, the harder it was for her to control her emotions.

Her hands on her lap clenched tightly together. Despite feeling anxious, she couldn't contain the smile that appeared on her lips.

After more than three years, she could finally reunite with her father.

Once she saw Noah, she would find the best hospital for him. Even if she couldn't wake him up, she would make sure he lived comfortably in the future.

However, as Nancy looked at the scenery outside the window, her brow furrowed tightly.

The last time Vivian took her, even though her head was covered during the journey, she could still sense that it was a villa with a good and quiet environment once she took off the hood and entered the room.

But the route this time clearly led to the outskirts...

Suppressing her doubts, she stared intently outside.

When the car stopped, Nancy saw the dilapidated building and couldn't hold back her emotions anymore.

"Vivian, you brought Dad here?"

Vivian gave her a cold glance, coldly curling her lips and saying, "What's wrong? Can the place where you used to live be any better than here?"

"Wait."

Luna patted Nancy's shoulder. Nancy had calmed down from her earlier anger and nodded slightly towards Luna.

The three women, along with the driver, walked into the bustling neighborhood.

Outside the building, some were playing mahjong, some were playing cards, and many children were running around a football, creating a lively scene.

Vivian walked past those people with disgust. Even though she was wearing a mask, she still covered her mouth and nose with her hand as if the air here made her nauseous.

They walked around for a while and finally reached the upstairs and arrived at the door of the room. Vivian stayed away from the run-down door with disgust.

The driver immediately took out the key and opened the door.

Vivian didn't even bother to look inside. She kept her eyes fixed on Nancy and sneered, "Your father is inside. Go in."
