Luna and Charlie didn't try to stop her. Luna even chuckled, "Poor Vivi, she's beaten."
She didn't want to keep them waiting, so Nancy made a beeline for the restroom. But about ten meters out, she saw a man at the entrance -- a man she knew.
A rush of anger surged within her as she recognized him under the dim streetlight.
"Alexander, you're guarding the restroom now?"
She didn't run away but went toward him.
On her wrist was a monitor bracelet from Charlie. Even if Charlie was not watching now, she could use this as evidence when she told him about Vivian's matter later.
To her surprise, Alexander had not expected "Vivian" to approach him. He gave a slight smirk, his eyes full of lewd amusement.
"Miss me, Vivian?"
"In your dreams! Bastard!"
Nancy cursed, yet she stopped when she was about ten feet away from Alexander.
Even if she intended to gather evidence, she had to ensure her safety first.
"Oh, the pianist has a potty mouth..."
She had thought Alexander was a psycho, and this was proving her right.
As she expected, the moment she turned, he was chasing her.
Usually, Nancy was quick, but fear slowed her down. And Alexander, with his height and long strides, caught her in no time.
He grabbed her shoulder and slammed her against a wall.
Nancy stared at Alexander's face, a mix of disgust and fear welling up within her. She cried out, "Alexander! Let me go! What do you want?"
His grip on her shoulders tightened as he looked into her frightened eyes. He chuckled sarcastically, "Just a man and a woman, alone. Miss Pianist, what do you think... I WANT TO DO TO YOU?"
